In the last 24 hours, 12,487 people have died from the deadly virus. Besides, 7 lakh 90 thousand 47 people have been newly identified. And 8 lakh 906 patients have recovered.
The data came from the international statistics website WorldoMeters on Sunday, May 02.
According to the WorldoMeters, a total of 15 crore 27 lakh 92 thousand 412 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus worldwide so far. Of these, 32 lakh 6 thousand 49 people died. And so far 13 crore 71 thousand 953 people have recovered from Corona.
The United States tops the list of countries affected by the Corona in the world. So far, 3 crore 31 lakh 46 thousand 8 people have been identified as infected with coronavirus in the country. Of these, 5 lakh 90 thousand 704 people have died. And 2 crore 57 lakh 77 thousand 927 people have recovered.
