Israel-UAE agree to visa-free travel

The United Arab Emirates and Israel have agreed on visa-free travel for their citizens. On Tuesday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced visa-free travel for both sides. Netanyahu made the announcement after a delegation from the United Arab Emirates arrived in Israel.

“We are making history today,” said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

This is the first official visit from the United Arab Emirates. Today we are signing four agreements that will change the face of the economy, science, technology and aviation.

Earlier in the day, a number of Etihad Airways officials left Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, for Israel. They are accompanied by some American officials.

The Emirates plane landed at Ben Gurion Airport outside Tel Aviv. There, wearing a mask, Netanyahu welcomed the UAE delegation.
