10 operations conducted to prevent Jatka killing in Chandpur.Chandpur District Administration, Fisheries Department, Naval Police, Coast Guard, Chandpur Sadar Fisheries Department, Haimchar Fisheries Department, Matlab North and South Fisheries Departments have conducted 10 operations and 3 mobile courts in the last 24 hours.
A report has been released from the monitoring cell of Chandpur District Fisheries Department on March 9 at around 5 pm.
13 kg of jatka, 18 lakh 4 thousand meters of current net has been seized. Its current value is 3 crore 69 lakh rupees. The jatkas have been distributed to local orphanages. Besides, 11 regular cases have been filed and 34 people have been sent to jail. Fine collected a of Tk 3,000.
