Kazi Ishrat played the role of Speaker Shirin Sharmin

Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury, the first woman speaker of Bangladesh National Parliament. On April 30, 2013, she was elected as the Speaker of the Ninth Parliament as the first woman speaker in the history of Bangladesh.

In her school’s competition, Kazi Ishrat Jamila Ahnaf, a 10th grade student, from Chandpur Daffodil International School played the role of Speaker Shirin Sharmin as a token of love.

Chandpur Superintendent of Police Milon Mahmud BPM, special guests, school principal, teachers and parents present on the occassion also amazed to see Kazi Ishrat Jamila Ahnaf who potrayed the character of Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury.

Kazi Ahnaf earned the first position in that competition and got the award from Milon Mahmud BPM, who was the chief guest of the prize giving ceremony.

Kazi Ishrat Jamila Ahnaf is the daughter of Kazi Mohammad Ibrahim Jewel, the publisher of ‘Chandpur Times’ and the acting editor of ‘Daily Chandpur Somoy’.
