Liquid Oxygen Plant will be started from August 1 in Chandpur

A liquid oxygen plant is being set up at Chandpur General Hospital from August 1 to provide uninterrupted oxygen services to patients suffering from corona.

Friday, July 30, in the morning Chandpur Government General Hospital administrator Md. Habib-ul-Karim confirmed the matter.

He said, “Sohrab Uddin, chief technical officer of the plant, said that if everything goes well, we will be able to inaugurate the liquid oxygen plant from August 1. The main plant will produce 6,000 liters of oxygen gas. Which will be converted into oxygen and stand at 51 lakh 60 thousand milliliters.”

The Civil Surgeon said, “If this liquid oxygen plant is started, patients from Chandpur and surrounding districts will be able to take advantage of it. Work on setting up a liquid oxygen plant at the 250-bed Government General Hospital in Chandpur began with funding from UNICEF and implementation by the government’s health ministry.”

So far 9,397 people have been infected by corona in the district. 165 people died.
