Government has decided to extend the lockdown for seven more days considering the situation of coronavirus (Covid-19) infection. In other words, this ‘restriction’ will remain in force till May 5.
The decision was taken at an inter-ministerial meeting organized by the cabinet department on Monday, April 26. State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain told the media.
The state minister said a notification in this regard may be issued tomorrow, Tuesday.
It is to be noted that the country first imposed strict restrictions for eight days from 6 am on April 14. That period ended at midnight on April 21.
