In Chandpur city, microbus has lost control over two business establishments. At least 4 people were injured, including two business owners. The incident took place on Thursday night in the microstand area of Chandpur city.
The affected businesses are Shamim Telecom and Abhishek Store. The injured are Shamim Sarkar, owner of Shamim Telecom and Basu Mia of Abhishek store and two buyers. However, the identity of the immediate buyers was not known.
Eyewitness reports suggest that a Noah Micro came forward from the other end of the road and hurried on to two shops. In this, most parts of the shop were wiped off furniture and the front of the car was damaged. Some of the drivers in the present micro stand said that the driver who was sitting in the car would be the driver and not the helper of any car.
Shamim Telecom’s proprietor, Shamim Sarkar, said, “I was talking to a customer at a general store. I heard a loud noise coming out of my place and a microphone came over my shop. It broke into a few feet high brick walls and fixed glass in front of the store and broke the car into the shop. Some of the furniture, including the showroom in front of my place and the front, gets crushed. If I was sitting in that seat I would probably have died. During the whole incident I was blocked.
He also said, ‘Abhishek’s store near his shop suffered major damage and shop owner Basu Mia was harmed. A drink shopkeeper sells a drink next to his shop; Bhagyis was not present at the shop at that time. Otherwise he might have been killed. ‘
Asked about the extent of the damage and who was the owner of the micro, he said, “I was injured and very blocked. I cannot say at this time how much my shop is damaged. But the people at the micro stand have taken responsibility. They have assured to resolve the matter. ”
