The Moderna vaccine coronavirus has been approved in the United States as the second vaccine. On Friday, December 18, the country’s Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the Pfizer-Bioentech vaccine for emergency use, one week after the emergency.
Earlier on Thursday,December 17, a panel of US experts recommended that the vaccine be approved. On the same day, 20 experts of the council voted in favor of approving the modern technology company Moderna vaccine.
They have all recommended the use of the vaccine. According to them, the vaccine is not risky for people 18 to avove age. The moderna vaccine works well regardless of age, color and gender. Adverse events associated with it were widespread, but fatigue, muscle aches, and pain at the injection site were short-lived.
Moderna vaccines will be sent immediately, the report said. Which will initially be used for healthcare workers and nursing home residents.
The AstraZeneca plc and Johnson & Johnson vaccines, which have also received support from the U.S. government, are expected to be submitted for review next year.
General Gus Perna, chief operating officer of Operation Warp Speed in the United States, said Moderna was preparing to send about 6 million doses of the vaccine to 3,285 locations in the country in the first week.
