Second wave of corona is going on in the world. In Europe, a new type of corona has been found, which experts believe is much stronger than the previous virus. At present, the number of people infected with corona in the world has exceeded 9 crore 27 lakh and the number of deaths has exceeded 19 lakh 86 thousand.
As of Thursday,January 14 in the morning, 9,27,67,845 people had been infected with the coronavirus and 19,86,696 had died, according to the WorldoMiter, a website that keeps statistics on coronavirus infections and deaths. Six crore 62 lakh 88 thousand 19 people have returned home after recovering. Corona has the highest number of infections and deaths in the United States so far. In the country which is at the top of the list, 2 crore 36 lakh 16 thousand 345 people have been infected with corona so far. Three lakh 93 thousand 928 people have died.
Coronavirus transmission began in late December last year in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. So far, Covid-19 has spread to 218 countries and regions of the world including Bangladesh.
