Patient Admitted To Isolation At Chandpur With Corona Symptoms

A female patient admitted to isolation at Chandpur with corona symptoms.A patient named Rumana Akhter (18) has been admitted to the isolation ward of Chandpur Government General Hospital on suspicion of having coronary disease. She was admitted to the ward on Tuesday April 07 at noon.

According to the report, ill Rumana Akhter is the daughter of Hossain Zamdar of Baburhat area in Chandpur Sadar upazila. She has been suffering from corona symptoms including fever, cold, cough sore throat and shortness of breath for the past few days, hospital sources said.

On Tuesday afternoon, his relatives took him to Chandpur Government General Hospital for treatment and admitted him to the isolation ward of a separate building at the hospital on suspicion of being coronary.

Doctors advised her to stay in the home quarantine of some of her relatives who had taken ill Rumana to hospital and who had contacted her at the hospital for treatment.

Resident Medical Officer (RMO) doctor of Chandpur Government General Hospital, AHM Sujaudaula Rubel said, ‘She was suffering from fever, cold cough and respiratory diseases. On Tuesday afternoon, her relatives brought her to Chandpur Government General Hospital for treatment. So we suspected that she might be infected with corona. We will collect samples of that patient and send these to the Bangladesh Disease Theory and Research Center (I, E, DC, R). From there, send a test report to confirm if she is infected with the corona virus.’

In addition, I advised the relatives of the patient and those who touched the patient to provide medical care at the hospital.

The patient is currently undergoing treatment in the hospital’s isolation ward.
