Students will get PEC certificate even if they do not take the exam.Students have to be admitted in the sixth class with the certificate of Primary Education Completion (PEC) examination. But this year the PEC exam has been canceled. In this situation, the Department of Primary Education is thinking of giving PEC certificate to the grade fifth class students without any number or grade.
However, there are still plans to take the annual test. However, if the school is not reopened in the end, it will not be possible to take this exam.
Yesterday, on his last working day on Monday, the farewell director general of the Department of Primary Education Fasiullah told if the current situation continues, it is being considered to give pass certificate to fifth grade students without grade or GPA in December. Only registered students will get this certificate.
Concerned people said that the students crossed the boundaries of primary after the fifth grade. They are admitted to secondary school. In that case PEC certificate is required. But this time there will be no PEC exam. But they will need a certificate to be admitted. So students who have registered for the PEC exam at the beginning of the year are being considered for central certification.
Due to the Corona situation, general holidays have been going on in all educational institutions of the country since March 17. This holiday has been extended till October 03. In the meantime, this year’s PEC exam has been canceled.
The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education has made several plans to make up for the loss of education due to this holiday. When the school open in October, examinations will be taken in a short syllabus. However, if that is not possible, there are plans to upgrade to the next class or ‘auto pass’ without examination.
