Pfizer vaccine approved for use in Bangladesh

Vaccine, developed by US company Pfizer and German biotechnology company Bioentech, has been approved by the Department of Drug Administration for emergency use in Bangladesh.

A press release issued by the department on Thursday, May 27 said that a total of four vaccines for coronavirus have been approved in Bangladesh.

Earlier, the Department of Drug Administration approved the Oxford-AstraZeneca Covishield made at the Serum Institute in India, the Russian made Sputrik-V and the Chinese made Sinofarm.
