In the evening, the Prime Minister will address the nation. On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will address the nation on Sunday evening. The information was given in a press release signed by the Prime Minister’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim on Saturday.
The statement said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will address the nation on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr at 7:30 pm on Sunday.
Earlier, the Prime Minister had addressed the nation on the occasion of the first Baishakh on April 13 after the start of the Corona disaster. Earlier, she addressed the nation on the occasion of Independence Day and National Day on March 25.
Although Eid is the biggest religious festival for the Muslim, this year Eid has come in a completely different atmosphere due to the Corona situation. Just as there were restrictions on Eid shopping, there are also restrictions on Eid prayers.
Such restrictions are not only in Bangladesh, but also in the two holy mosques of Mecca and Medina in Saudi Arabia, but the general public will not be able to take part in them.
Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated in Bangladesh tomorrow (Monday). The National Moon Sighting Committee has taken this decision as the moon of Shawwal month could not be seen in the sky of the country on Saturday evening.
