Profit of the banks in Chandpur is 114 crore

There are 20 branches of Sonali Bank, 20 branches of Agrani Bank, 28 branches of Krishi Bank, 15 branches of Janata Bank, and 54 branches of Grameen Bank in Chandpur district. There are very few branches that do not make a profit.

Till December of 2021-22 financial year, all the banks in Chandpur have earned 114 crores 15 lakh taka.

Meanwhile, there are more than 100 branches of 24 more private banks in the district. As there is no regional office in Chandpur to control them, the profit margin could not be included in the news.

According to the regional office of the concerned bank, Sonali Bank Tk 32 crore 87 lakh, Krishi Bank Tk 19 crore 64 lakh, Janata Tk 18 crore 7 lakh, Agrani Bank Tk 22 crore 98 lakh, Rupali Bank Tk 13 crore 65 lakh, and Grameen bank have earned Tk 8 crore 94 lakh.
