Sand trader murdered in Chandpur

Sand trader murdered in Chandpur. The miscreants killed a sand trader, a resident of Khan Road in New Truck Road area of ​​Chandpur city.

It is learned that Rehan Uddin Mizi (55), a sand trader of Bagadi Road in Chandpur city, was killed by miscreants.

Speaking to locals and residents of the same building, it was learned that Md. Rehan Uddin Mizi, a resident of Shariatpur Tarabunia area, has been renting a flat on the west side of the 3rd floor of Tamanna Sharmin Villa on Khan Road for the last one and a half years.He and his wife lived in this house. His wife went to village house two days ago.

On Thursday, June 24, his wife call him repeatedly from morning but the man on the other side of the phone did not pick the call. So she informed the tenant next door.

Later, the tenant next to the house saw the door shut through outside of the flat. Later they opened the door and saw the body lying on the bed.

The matter was immediately reported to the police. Teams from different units of law enforcement including PBI reached the spot. Chandpur Model Police took the body for autopsy.

Additional Superintendent of Police Sudipta Roy visited the spot.
