Saudi Arabia Ordered Extension Of Free Iqama For Three Months

The King of Saudi Arabia has ordered the extension of the free Iqama for three months.Saudi King Salman bin Abdul aziz Al Saud has ordered a three-month extension of the free Iqama (residence permit) for expatriates.

The Saudi Press Agency quoted the Interior Ministry as saying on Sunday.

It is known that the validity of the visa will be extended for three months at no cost to the tourists whose visa have expired during the ban on entry and exit to Saudi Arabia.

In addition to the final exit visa, exit and re-entry visa were issued for expatriates residing in the state, but they could not use it during the lockdown, they will also get free three-month iqama facility.

Those expatriates who went out of the state with exit and re-entry visa but could not return on time due to lockdown will also get this iqama facility on the instructions of the King of Saudi Arabia.

According to the Saudi Interior Ministry, King Salman has ordered free Iqama benefits as part of the government’s ongoing process to mitigate trade and economic losses in the coronavirus crisis.
