And that last incident ended everything in Inter Milan. Milan equalized the match 2-2 in the 35th minute with the last suicide goal.

Sevilla beat Inter Milan 3-2 in a thrilling Europa League final in Cologne to become champions for a record sixth time. The La Liga club won all six of these finals.

But Inter Milan went ahead in the fifth minute of the match. Lukaku led Milan from the penalty spot. Sevilla, however, did not take long to return to the fight.

With seven minutes to go (in the 12th minute), they returned the favor thanks to Dutch forward Luke de Young. Young scored another goal in the 33rd minute to give Sevilla a 2-1 lead.

However, Milan is not going to give up. Diego Godin equalized two minutes later. 2-2 draw in 35 minutes! The fight to spread such tension has been going on for a long time.

The two teams fought equally in the second half. But the title was not destined for Milan. If not, why such misfortune in 74 minutes? Lukaku grabbed Carlos’ overhead kick from high ball. The ball gets entangled in their own net.

Sevilla, who went ahead 3-2, made no more mistakes on the way to a record sixth title win. The students brought the title to coach Julen Lopetegui, who took over last February.
