Holy Shab e Miraj At 22 March .On March 22, the ceremonial night will be celebrated at Holy Shabe. The moon of the month of Ramadan was not seen in the sky of the country on Monday, March 24. So the new month will start on Wednesday. The decision was made on Monday evening at a meeting of the national moon-watching committee at the Islamic Foundation.
State Minister for Religious Affairs Sheikh Md. Abdullah told reporters, “Today the month of Rajab is not seen in the sky. As a result, the counting of the month of Rajab will begin from Wednesday, February 26. Therefore, Shab e Miraj will be celebrated across the country on the 26th of Rajab or March 22 night.
26th of Rajab nights is known as Lilatul Miraj or Shabe Miraj. The Prophet (peace be upon him) went to the mosque that night and had a conversation with Allah, as mentioned in the Qur’an and Hadith. Prayers are made obligatory on Muslims in Shabe Miraj. That is why the night is celebrated with special importance in the subcontinent.
The counting of the days of Holy Ramadan begins with the beginning of the month of Rajab. Ramadan begins just two months after that. Muslims started to prepare for Ramadan as the month of Rajab begins.
