Son of Comilla Al-Amin brought Bangladesh Second Gold.

Sports experts think that this South Asian Games is potential for Bangladesh.Bangladeshi Athletes have set a goal with the promise of surpassing any previous position in the number of medal wins.

According to,Bangladesh has already won two Gold medals.Mohammad Al Amin Islam won the Second Gold medal for Bangladesh on Tuesday.Al-Amin has won the gold medal to defeat Pakistani competitor in the 60 kg category in men’s division at Karate Discipline.

Mohammad Al Amin Islam confirmed the Gold medal after defeating Pakistan’s Zafar 7-3 in the final.He also lost the Nepali Athlete in the semifinals 7-4.

Dipu Chakma achieved Gold Medal on behalf of Bangladesh on the second day(Monday).Dipu smiles at the Taekwondo discipline of losing the Indian competitor in the boys single Pumassa 29-class category. With that, the name of Bangladesh goes on the list of gold.

Although Al-Amin won gold in karate discipline, the other Athlete of karate discipline of Bangladesh failed in two events on the second day of the Games to achieved Gold Medal.As a result Bangladesh got two Silver. Mostafa Kamal won the men’s single kumi under-55 kg. Maunzera Borna won the women’s single kumi under-55kg won the silver medal.

Earlier,Homayara Akhter brought home the country’s first medal (bronze) from the women’s single Kata event. Hasan Khan San won bronze in the boys single.

Bangladesh also received bronze Medal from the boys and girls team.
In the under-84 kg Kumi category,Mohammed Ramjan received a Bronze Medal.Also Atikur Rahman received Bronze in the +84 kg and Fahmida Akhtar received bronze in the women’s under-50 kg.

The total number of Bangladesh’s medal is 17.These include 2 Gold Medal,2 Silver Medal and 3 Bronze Medal.
