Possibility Of Rain In The Country Till May 31

There is a possibility of rain in the country till May 31. Meteorological office sources said this news today.

According to the meteorological office, the trend of rains may continue till May 31 due to the effect of Kalbaishakhi in the country. At this time, strong winds may blow in some areas.

Dhaka recorded 56 mm of rainfall on Thursday, while Rangamati recorded the highest rainfall of 131 mm in the country.

The weather forecast for the next 24 hours from 6:00 am today said that light to moderate rain and thundershowers are likely in Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and most parts of Sylhet division and some parts of Rangpur division.

At the same time, there may be moderate to very heavy rainfall in some parts of the country. Day and night temperatures across the country may remain almost unchanged. At 6:00 am, the air humidity in Dhaka was 98 percent.

The highest rainfall recorded in the country in the last 24 hours was 131 mm in Rangamati. Besides, Gopalganj and Patuakhali received 107 mm, Barisal 104 mm, Madaripur 96 mm, Feni 85 mm and Hatia 80 mm rainfall.

According to the Meteorological Department, the trend of rain may continue in the next 72 hours or 3 days. The summary of the meteorological picture states that the increase in light pressure is located in the North Bay area. There is a lot of variation in air pressure in the North Bay area.
