UP Chairman’s gift to women in Mujib Year.On the occasion of the discussion on the contribution of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman to the empowerment of women on the occasion of International Women’s Day at Palakhal Model Union of Kachua Upazila of Chandpur, UP chairman Md. Thousands of women have been given a mug in the hands of Imam Hussain Sohag.
Upazila Executive Officer Dipayan Das Shubh addressed the chief guest at the Palakhal Model UP office on Thursday morning in collaboration with the Upazila administration and the office of Upazila women’s affairs officer.
Speaking on the occasion, UML chairperson Imam Hossain Sohag and special guest were present at the function of Secretary Myrnal Kanti Poddar, Upazila Women’s Affairs Officer Mrinalini Karmakar, UP member Abdul Khalek, Safiul Khan.
