World Sports Journalists Day. About a hundred years ago, on July 02, 1924, the International Sports Journalists Association (AIPS) made its debut in France. So far, about 167 countries, including Bangladesh, have been recognized by this sports Journalists organization.
Since 1994, July 02 has been celebrated as World Sports Journalists Day, with the International Sports Journalists Association as its founding day.
This day is celebrated all over the world on 2nd July. World Sports Journalists Day is observed to raise public awareness about the role and importance of sports journalism.
