Ambulance Toll Free Across The Country Including Chandpur Since March

Ambulance toll free across the country including Chandpur since March. From now on, no need to pay toll on government-run private ambulances carrying patients. Private ambulances will transport freight, roads, highways, bridges and ferries across the country. And this law will come into force from March 1.

The government’s Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges and the Department of Road Transport and Highways have issued a notification in this regard. Deputy Secretary Fahmida Haque Khan signed the presidency.

It said that in the past, tolls or charges were collected from any ambulance at the intersection of roads, highways, bridges and ferries. Such things have come to the notice of the government. Therefore, public private ambulances deployed to carry out the patient can now cross without any toll or charge. However, the facility will be effective from March 1.

Mohammed Abdullah Al Mahmud Zaman, Acting Deputy Commissioner of Chandpur confirmed the authenticity of the matter.

He said that a letter issued by the concerned authorities of the government was delivered to the various Deputy Commissioners and Self-Departments of the country by noon on Monday (February 17th).

Sources said the government private ambulances, which used to carry sick patients on the roads, highways, bridges and ferries during the day, had to be tapped while collecting tolls or charges. On one hand, the patient’s condition was in crisis or on the other side the bridge was formed. However, from now on, the toll or charging system will start to have a positive impact. Some say the initiative will play a role in enhancing the image of the government.
