Canada extend emergency financial assistance for unemployed.Canada has extended its emergency cash assistance for unemployed people due to the epidemic. And when this special benefit expires, the country’s restrictions on receiving unemployment benefits will be lifted, so that these people can receive unemployment benefits.

Canadian government officials said the new cash-strapped move would cost 37 billion canadian dollar a year.

As part of emergency financial assistance after the Corona outbreak, the government is providing financial assistance of about US dollar 2,000 per month (approximately Tk. 170,000 in Bangladeshi currency) to about 4.5 million Canadians or 12 percent of the country’s population. Now its term has been extended till September 27.

After the expiration of the emergency cash assistance next September, those who will make a claim will be listed in the country’s unemployment-related financial assistance program. The announcement was made by Chrystia Freeland, the country’s first female finance minister, and Carla Qualtrough, the country’s employment minister.
