Education Minister Dipu Moni said on Friday the government is attaching importance to creating skilled manpower and change the educational curriculum to face the challenge of the fourth industrial revolution.
The minister said this while speaking as chief guest at a reunion of the former students of Rajshahi College at the college ground in the afternoon ,said a PID handout.”The government is working to increase investment in education sector to six percent of GDP ,” she said .
“We are also engaged in enhancing investment no teachers because quality deucation depends on the excellence of teachers “, she said emphasising enhancement of research activities at educational institutions.
Among oters,state minister for foreign affairs Shariar Alam and State minister for ICT Zunai Ahmmed Palak spoke at the programme presided over by prof Md Habibur Rahman ,principal of Rajshahi College.
