Corona deaths are on the rise in all divisions of country. The number of deaths due to coronavirus infection has been increasing in almost all the eight divisions of the country recently. In the last 24 hours, 6,350 people, including 28 people, have died so far. Of them, 4,881 are males (76.87%) and 1,469 are females (23.13%).
In the last 24 hours, coronavirus has killed seven out of eight departments – 16 in Dhaka, three in Chattogram, three in Rajshahi, two in Khulna, two in Barisal, one in Sylhet and one in Rangpur. At this time only in Mymensingh division no patient died in Corona.
Pathologists say that even a few days ago, there were deaths in three or four divisions of Hategona including Dhaka-Chattogram. Recently, although the number is less in almost all the departments, the death toll in Corona is increasing. The number of identified patients has also increased.
Mortality has increased by 42.74 percent in the last one week. Pathologists believe that the number of corona infections and deaths can increase if you go out of the house, wear a mask, wash your hands frequently with soap or sanitizer, and maintain a certain social distance.
In terms of departmental death statistics, the highest number of 3,349 people (52.74 percent) died in Dhaka division and the lowest number of 130 people (2.05 percent) died in Mymensingh division. Besides, 1,231 people in Chattogram division (19.39 percent), 486 people in Khulna division (7.65 percent), 388 people in Rajshahi division (6.11 percent), 290 people in Rangpur division (4.57 percent) and 262 people in Sylhet division. John (4.13 percent) and 214 people (3.37 percent) died in Barisal division.
Meanwhile, 12,458 samples were collected and 12,643 samples were tested in 118 laboratories in the last 24 hours. The total number of sample tests stood at 26 lakh 35 thousand 202. At the same time, 1,847 new patients have been identified. The total number of identified patients stood at 4 lakh 45 thousand 281 people.
One thousand 921 people have recovered in the last 24 hours. With this, the number of healthy patients stood at three lakh 60 thousand 352 people.
In the last 24 hours, the patient identification rate is 14.61 percent as compared to the sample test and so far the patient detection rate is 16.90 percent compared to the total sample test. The recovery rate is 80.93 percent and the mortality rate is 1.43 percent compared to the total number of patients identified.
