In Chandpur, the number of corona patients increased to 1856: 75 deaths.Corona of 3 more people was identified in Chandpur on Monday. Of these, 2 are from Matlab Uttar and 1 from Shahrasti. With this, the number of people affected by corona in the district has increased to 1856 people. The death toll is 75.
On Sunday, August 03, 33 people in the district were released from corona and recovered. Of these, 12 from Chandpur Sadar, 2 from Matlab South, 4 from Shahrasti, 5 from Haimchar, 2 from Hajiganj, 1 from Matlab North and 7 from Faridganj have recovered.
This information has been informed by the Civil Surgeon’s Office. According to sources, 19 reports came on Monday. 3 of these reports are not positive. The remaining 16 reports are negative.
The upazila-wise statistics of 1856 people affected by corona in Chandpur district at present are: 729 in Chandpur Sadar, 210 in Faridganj, 199 in Matlab South, 186 in Shahrasti, 181 in Hajiganj, 146 in Matlab North, 127 in Haimchar and 78 in Kachu.
The upazila-wise statistics of 75 deaths in the district are as follows: 21 in Chandpur Sadar, 17 in Hajiganj, 10 in Faridganj, 10 in Matlab North, 7 in Shahrasti, 6 in Kachua, 3 in Matlab South and 1 in Haimchar.
Civil Surgeon Dr. Sakhawat Ullah added that the total number of samples collected till Monday was 6838.
6738 reports have been received. 100 reports awaiting. He added that out of 1856 people affected in the district, 1203 have already recovered. 578 people are under treatment.
So far, the number of patients admitted in isolation is 632. Of these, 604 have already received clearance. At present the number of patients in isolation is 28. Besides, the total number of people in Home Quarantine in the district is 10,685.
Of these, 8087 have received clearance. At present there are 2598 people in home quarantine.
