In the last 24 hours, 47,207 samples have been tested, the health department said in a statement. So far, a total of 81 lakh 64 thousand 617 samples have been tested in the country. The notification further said that 14 thousand 412 people have recovered from Corona in 24 hours. So far, a total of 12 lakh 19 thousand 859 people have recovered.
The first case of coronavirus infection (Covid-19) in the country was identified on March 8 last year. Ten days later, on March 18, the first person died of the coronavirus.
