Additional Director General of the Department of Health Prof. Dr. Nasima Sultana gave this information on Wednesday (July 29). The Department of Health regularly conducts online briefings on the coronavirus situation in the country.

The first case of coronavirus infection (Covid-19) in the country was identified on March 08. Ten days later, on March 18, the first person died of coronavirus infection.
