Additional Director General of the Department of Health Prof. Dr. Nasima Sultana gave this information on Saturday (July 24). The Department of Health regularly conducts online briefings on the coronavirus situation in the country.
Professor Nasima Sultana said samples from 10,446 people were tested in the last 24 hours. So far 11 lakh and 1 thousand 480 samples have been tested in 81 labs.
She said 1,014 more Covid-19 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours. A total of one lakh and 22 thousand 90 people have recovered with this.
The first case of coronavirus infection (Covid-19) in the country was identified on March 08. Ten days later, on March 18, the first person died of coronavirus infection.
