Calling the Coronavirus situation ‘normal’ in the country, Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader said the government will take various steps, including shutting down educational institutions, considering the situation.

He told reporters during a briefing on contemporary issues at the party’s central office in the capital on Saturday. News from UNB.

Obaidul Quader said that the government has taken all necessary preparations to deal with the coronavirus situation.

Relatively, the death toll from coronavirus-infected ‘Covid-19’ disease has risen to 5,436 worldwide.

Worldwide, according to the World Health Organization, as of Saturday, the disease has been infected by 145,810 people worldwide. Of them 72,531 are fully healed. In addition 67,843 are currently under treatment.

Coronavirus has spread to 145 countries and regions of the world including Bangladesh. The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the outbreak of coronavirus a ‘global epidemic’.
