HSC result may announced on January 31

Results of the HSC and equivalent examinations for 2020 may be announced next Sunday, January 31. Education Minister Dipu Moni has said that the results will be announced this month as the legal hurdle of announcing the results without examinations has been removed.

The results are officially published after the Education Minister hands over the results to the Prime Minister.

The Ministry of Education has sent a proposal to the Prime Minister to release the results of HSC and equivalent examinations next Saturday, January 30 or Sunday, January 31. However, the results are expected to be published on Sunday.

The government on Tuesday, January 26 published a gazette giving the power to prepare, publish and distribute HSC results to the education boards as it was not possible to take the test in the corona virus.

Through this, the government gave this power to the Madrasa and Technical Education Board along with nine general boards as per the recommendation of the Advisory Committee of the Department of Secondary and Higher Education and the Technical and Madrasa Education Department.

According to the Gazette, the laws have been amended as it is not possible to take the Higher Secondary Examination to be held in 2020 due to the ongoing global epidemic Corona virus.
