In Chandpur, 162 more corona were identified. In Chandpur, corona of 162 out of 428 samples was identified. The detection rate is 37.6%. This year, Chandpur has witnessed the highest collection of corona samples and the highest number of identification of infected people in Chandpur.

According to the Chandpur Civil Surgeon’s Office, the new victims include 54 from Chandpur Sadar Upazila, 6 from Matlab South, 13 from Hajiganj, 27 from Faridganj, 11 from Haimchar, 29 from Shahrasti and 22 from Matlab North.

On the same day, 40 people were declared healthy. Of these, 23 are from Chandpur Sadar, 2 from Matlab North, 1 from Matlab South, 2 from Faridganj, 3 from Kachua and 9 from Hajiganj.

Sources further said that the number of people infected with corona in the district has increased to 7174 including the new ones. The death toll has risen to 144. So far 5473 people have been declared healthy. At present 1557 people are undergoing treatment.

Among the injured, 38 are undergoing treatment in the isolation ward of the hospital. The rest are in home isolation.
