4 people died while undergoing treatment in isolation ward of Chandpur

Four people died in 24 hours while undergoing treatment in the isolation ward of Chandpur Government General Hospital.

The deaths occurred from noon on Tuesday to Wednesday morning.

According to hospital sources, a 124-year-old woman named Alfatunnesa died in the isolation ward of the hospital around 7:30 pm on Tuesday.

Her home is in Mulpara area of ​​Faridganj. She was buried at night by the volunteers.

Sadar Hospital Corona Focal Person and RMO Sujauddaula Rubel said Alfatunnesa, who was suffering from corona, was admitted to the hospital on Monday.

She was also admitted to the hospital earlier. Then her corona was identified in the sample test.

The deceased were identified as Jasmine, 50, of Makimabad area in Hajiganj, Dilip Das, 52, and Habibur Rahman, 80, of Faridganj.111They all had corona symptoms. Jasmine died at 2:10 a.m. Tuesday, 15 minutes after being admitted to the hospital. Dilip Das came to the hospital at 2:00 pm on Tuesday. He died at 7:00 a.m. Wednesday. Habibur Rahman died at around 6:00 pm on Tuesday after arriving at the hospital at 4:00 pm.

Dr. Rubel said the relatives of the three people who died of the symptoms could not collect their samples as they refused to do so.

He also commented that it was not necessary to collect samples from the dead as community transmission in Corona was ongoing.
