Mashrafe Bin Mortaza has been selected as the ‘Young Global Leader’. Each year the World Economic Forum selects talented and capable individuals from under the age of 40 who will contribute to the global context. The World Economic Forum has selected 112 young leaders for the year 2021 from different parts of the world. Mashrafe is one of 10 young leaders selected from South Asia this year.
Those who have been elected ‘Young Global Leaders’ will take part in various global initiatives to further develop the world in conjunction with that World Economic Forum.
Born in 1983, Narail’s son Mashrafe has been playing in the national team since 2001. He played his first international match against Zimbabwe in the same year. This talented player has led Bangladesh in various formats of cricket. He has been praised not only in Bangladesh but also abroad for his fighting spirit.
