The Ministry of Education has not yet decided on the HSC and JSC-JDC examinations. Everyone will be informed whenever a decision is made. It will be announced after August 25, whether the educational institution is opening or not.
Md Mahbub Hossain, secretary of the secondary and higher education department of the education ministry, said this in response to a question from reporters at the secretariat on Monday.
Regarding the opening of the educational institution, Mahbub Hossain said, “We will announce the decision in the near future.” We will announce a time after the 25th August. Asked whether universities, colleges and schools would be opened in phases, he said, “We will let you know whenever we get clearance.”
Regarding the HSC exam, which was postponed due to coronavirus, Secretary Mahbub Hossain said, ‘We will be informed whenever we take the exam. It is not a secret decision. We will announce it publicly. I will announce the approval of the Appropriate Authority and the Appropriate Authority. There should be no rationale or basis for spreading such rumors.’
On the issue of spreading rumors, the secretary said, “This (HSC) is a public examination. It involves the lives of a large number of our students. I would urge the government to refrain from making any such rumors or comments until it receives a decision or announcement from government officials. ”
The secretary said, “The education minister has made it clear that whenever we take the test, we will inform everyone with two weeks’ notice.”
We will announce the date of the test publicly. From our side all the time we are ready, there was preparation before. Now, due to the Covid-19 situation, I have made special preparations to follow the hygiene rules so that the number of centers can be increased if necessary.

Regarding the upcoming JSC exams in November, the secretary said, “We will let you know whenever we have a final decision. Not only JSC, we will review the advice given by our experts on other exams and announce in due course what we are going to do.
