Requested to the teacher-student to cut the paddy of the farmer.The Department of Secondary and Higher Education has urged teachers and educators to help farmers in cutting paddy bores in compliance with the hygiene conditions under coronavirus. Principals of all colleges and headmasters of secondary schools, regional directors of Mausi, deputy directors, district education officers and upazila secondary education officers have been directed to take necessary steps in this regard on Tuesday.
According to directive, the heads of education institutes were requested to provide necessary assistance to the farmers in the areas where farmers need assistance in harvesting boro rice. Maintaining the necessary hygiene and social distance, they (head of the institution) along with other teachers responsible and trained (scouts, rover scouts, etc.) will go ahead to help the farmers in the area adjacent to their institution.
Earlier, the Directorate of Primary Education decided to open government primary schools to accommodate the workers who cut rice from other areas of the country.
