The pickup lost control on the highway and fell into the canal. On the afternoon of September 12, a pickup lost control on the west side of the Monir petrol pump at Waruk Station Bazar in Tamta South Union (Rara village) of the Upazila on the Chandpur-Cumilla regional highway and fell into a ditch on the south side.
No one was injured in the accident, an eyewitness confirmed.
It is learned that pickup number 15-1402 was going towards Chandpur from Cumilla. At that time there were 2 workers in the pick-up besides the driver-helper.
