Sheikh Hasina wants closer ties with Muslim countries.Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has directed Bangladeshi ambassadors appointed in Middle East countries to strengthen relations with Muslim countries.

The Prime Minister also directed her to work towards creating new markets for domestic products and increasing their investment.

Prime Minister said this at a conference of Bangladeshi ambassadors appointed by the countries of the Middle East at the Shangri-La Hotel in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Monday. Prime Minister’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim said this.

At the same time, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, “They should focus on strengthening relations with Muslim states, creating new markets for Bangladeshi products and increasing investment.”

The Prime Minister called on the ambassadors to keep pace with the needs of the visiting countries in order to attract their attention to create new markets and invest in Bangladeshi products. He also called for the settlement of any misunderstandings between neighbors and other friendly countries by employing diplomatic skills.

In this regard Prime Minister said, “In such a situation foreign relations will be strengthened, but it must be through dialogue.”

She added, “It is important to remember that while working, the world is now considered as a global village. Dependent on each other So everyone should move forward with a spirit of cooperation. ”

Regarding migrant workers Prime Minister said, ‘Bangladeshi workers are often subjected to fraud. They all need a concerted and co-ordinated initiative for security. The country’s economy once had to rely on foreign donor loans. From this condition, the government is now working with the economy to exploit the country’s potential to boost the economy to a new level. ”

The Prime Minister has directed a massive campaign to ensure that no one seeking a job abroad become a victim of fraud.
