Arefin Shuvo in the role of Bangabandhu and Nusrat in the role of Sheikh Hasina
The actress has been named in the movie ‘Bangabandhu’, which is being produced in the biography of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Initially 50 artists were selected for the performance. This list was published on the website of Bangladesh Film Development Corporation.
According to the list, Arifin Shubh and Sheikh Hasina have been nominated as Nusrat Faria in the role of Bangabandhu. Samantha Rahman is playing the role of Sheikh Rehana.
Nusrat Imroz Tisha, who plays Bangabandhu’s wife Sheikh Fazilatunnesa’s Barbel, and Dighi will play the role of a young child.
Abdul Hamid Khan Bhasani is playing the role of Raisul Islam Asad, Sheikh Kamal as Kamrul Hasan, Sharif Siraj as Sheikh Jamal. Fazlur Rahman Babu will be seen in the role of Khandaker Moshtaq Ahmed. Ayub Khan will be Misha Saudagar.
Besides, Ferdous will be seen in the role of Tajuddin Ahmed, Shahidul Alam Sachu in the role of AK Fazlul Haque, Tauqir Ahmed in the role of Shahid Suhrawardy and Khandaker Hafeez in the role of General Osmani.
Shyam Benegal has been given the responsibility of producing the film. The shooting will begin on March 17 at the FDC.
