3 stations were launched with access control system.Three railway stations were inaugurated on Thursday after improving the quality of the station and developing the access control system. Dhaka Airport, Joydebpur and Narsingdi these three stations have been launched after five months. After March 25, the train stopped at these three stations and passengers were picked up from yesterday.
The train service was suspended from March 25 due to corona infection. Although a limited number of train have been running since May 31, no passengers have been picked up at these three stations.
According to railway sources, the station was closed due to development of access control system and platform reform to prevent ticketless passengers. The upgrade and access control system of platform No. 1 of Dhaka Airport Railway Station and access control of Joydebpur and Narsingdi stations were inaugurated yesterday.
Secretary at the Ministry of Railways Selim Raza presided over the inaugural function. 14 pairs of trains launched: Railways has set a target of launching 84 trains in three phases from September 10 to September 16. As a part of this, in the first phase, 14 pairs of passenger trains were launched on different routes yesterday.
