Trader died after falling on train in Chandpur

Trader died after falling on train in Chandpur named Pankaj Majumdar (50), a lab trader, is believed to have committed suicide after falling on a train with his family.The incident took place on Sunday 12th January at noon in front of Sri Ramakrishna Ashram in Chandpur city.

The deceased was identified as Pankaj Majumdar,son of deceased Biputti Majumdar of Para Bogla village of Haimchar upazila of Chandpur.

The body of the victim is seen in different parts, broken into pieces.People heard the news of death of the rally from Mission Road. On receiving the news, OC Sarowar Alam of Chandpur ZRP Police took the body from the spot and recovered the body .

Eyewitnesses said,’Pankaj majumder was hit on the railway line on Sunday afternoon. At that time, he died after falling under the Sagarika train leaving Chandpur’s boro station. Someone said, ‘They saw from a distance’.

Pankaj Majumder wa worked as a receptionist. His wife works as a fourth grade employee in the office of the Deputy Commissioner. He has two daughters. Older daughter Ahna attends college, and younger daughter Nidi attends Christian Mission School.

It was reported to some local neighbors that Pankaj got out of his house angrily before the incident. Shortly afterwards, a tragic suicide occurred.
