United States approved Coronavirus vaccine of Pfizer

Coronavirus vaccine of Pfizer and Bioentech has been approved in the United States for emergency use. The country’s Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the vaccine on Friday, December 11.

Earlier on Thursday, December 10, the FDA’s advisory meeting recommended that Pfizer’s corona vaccine be approved. A committee of 17 members of the FDA’s advisory committee voted in favor of Pfizer’s vaccine. Four of them voted against the approval. One abstains from voting.

About 1.54 billion people in the United States have been infected with the coronavirus. About 290,000 people lost their lives. Approval of the vaccine is seen as very important in the country at the moment.

As many as 2.9 million doses of the vaccine have been made available in the United States for immediate use. It will be sent for distribution as soon as it is approved. Exactly the same dose will be preserved, so that those taking the first dose can take their second dose after about three weeks. Federal and state level health officials are in charge of coordinating the whole matter.

The vaccination program could begin in the United States on Monday or Tuesday. Physicians and health workers will be at the beginning of this program.
