Today is World Press Freedom Day. May 03 is celebrated all over the world every year. This year’s slogan for the day is ‘Fearless or Impartial Journalism’.
In accordance with the recommendations of the 26th General Assembly of UNESCO in 1991, the UN General Assembly in 1993 recognized May 03 as World Press Freedom Day. Since then, journalists around the world have been celebrating the day.
On the occasion of this day, like other countries of the world, the journalists of Bangladesh have also taken various programs to establish their professional rights and dignity. Various media related organizations and institutions observed the day through various programs.
