36 more people identified as infected in Chandpur

36 more people identified as infected in Chandpur. Among them 19 are from Chandpur Sadar Upazila, 3 from Faridganj, 3 from Hajiganj, 1 from Haimchar, 7 from Matlab South, 2 from Matlab North and 1 from Shahrasti.

On the same day, 4 people have been declared corona free. Among them 2 are from Chandpur Sadar upazila, 1 from Faridganj and 1 from Kachua.

The information was revealed by the Civil Surgeon’s Office on Sunday.

The number of people infected with corona in the district has increased to 4729 with new cases. The death toll is 122. 4340 people have recovered. At present 267 people are undergoing treatment. Among the injured, 12 are undergoing treatment in the isolation ward of Chandpur Sadar Hospital. The rest are in home isolation.

According to sources, a total of 172 samples were tested in Chandpur on Sunday. According to the report received at night, 36 people were positive.
