In Chandpur the number of corona patients increase to 1831.Another 13 corona were identified in Chandpur on Friday. Among them 7 are from Chandpur Sadar, 1 from Matlab South, 2 from Faridganj and 3 from Shahrasti.
On the same day, 15 people in the district were released from corona and recovered. Of them, 5 from Chandpur Sadar, 3 from Matlab South and 7 from Faridganj have recovered.
With this, the number of people affected by corona in the district has increased to 1831 people. The death toll was 75.
This information has been informed by the Civil Surgeon’s Office.
According to sources, 62 reports came in on Friday (July 31). Of these, 13 reports are not positive. The remaining 49 reports are not negative.
The upazila-wise statistics of 1831 people affected by corona in Chandpur district at present are: 723 in Chandpur Sadar, 210 in Faridganj, 199 in Matlab South, 178 in Shahrasti, 176 in Hajiganj, 141 in Matlab North, 127 in Haimchar and 77 in Kachu.
The upazila-wise statistics of 75 deaths in the district are as follows: 21 in Chandpur Sadar, 17 in Hajiganj, 10 in Faridganj, 10 in Matlab North, 7 in Shahrasti, 6 in Kachua, 3 in Matlab South and 1 in Haimchar.
Civil Surgeon Dr. Sakhawat Ullah added that the total number of samples collected till Friday was 6734. There were 6671 reports. 63 reports awaiting. He added that out of 1831 people affected in the district, 1130 have already recovered. 626 people are under treatment.
So far 610 patients have been admitted in isolation. Of these, 595 have already received clearance. At present the number of patients in isolation is 15. Besides, the total number of people in the home quarantine in the district is 10,585.
Of these, 7795 have received clearance. At present there are 2790 people in the home quarantine.
