ACC seeking list of private car’s registration in 5 yrs

In the last five years, the Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) has sent a letter to the Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) seeking registration of private or proprietary zipgari registrations owned by persons with 20 or more powers. The letter has already been confirmed to the BRTA chairman.

The letter was signed by the Director General of the Special Investigation Division of the ACC,   ANM  Al-Firoz.

An ACC official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the ACC letter sought details of the vehicle ie engine number / chassis number / model, import year, nature of vehicle, registration number and date, vehicle price, VAT and other tax and name and address of the car owner.
