Two BITAC training courses has started in Chandpur. Two training courses of Bangladesh Small Cottage and Technical Industrial Support Center are being launched in Chandpur from today.
Jahangir Alam, Additional Director Engineer, Chandpur BITAC, said this on August 17.
According to a source at the Bangladesh Cottage Industries and Technical Center, Chandpur, 25 unemployed youths in each batch of the two courses are participating in the training course today after the training was suspended for a long time due to the corona pandemic.
According to the information received, the first 10-year project under the project titled Self-Employment and Poverty Alleviation at this training center in Chandpur was completed in the fiscal year 2020-2021 and then the second phase started again in the fiscal year 2021-22. A total of 50 trainees participated in the three-month course in electrical and welding training.
Incidentally, 77 batches were completed in 10 years in Chandpur. Officially, this training course under the Ministry of Industries is aimed at developing the youth as skilled as training for their employment in various industries of the country.
