Chandrapur molhead killed 4 in same family with thunderstorms. At least four people, including two children, were killed in a lightning strike at the big station or Molhead in Chandpur city.
The accident happened on Sunday, Oct 6, at around 1:30 pm in the heavy rain.
The deceased were identified as Ahida Begum, of Badarpur village of Kachua upazila of Chandpur, her daughter Rehana Begum, and two of Rehena’s two children, Sabbir and Samia. Rehana’s husband’s house is in Andi Para village in the same upazila. Witnesses say two more were injured in the incident.
Several youths, including Sajjat Hossain Robin, were rescued and taken to the hospital when the doctors declared them dead.
