In Chandpur, 2,970 people were identified as corona: 2,777 healthy.In the last 24 hours in Chandpur, 14 more corona have been identified in the district. Among them 5 are from Chandpur Sadar Upazila, 5 from Hajiganj, 1 from Matlab South, 1 from Shahrashti, 1 from Faridganj and 1 from Kachua. On the same day, 13 people were declared corona-free. Among them 2 are from Chandpur Sadar Upazila, 1 from Faridganj, 1 from Shahrasti, 4 from Kachua and 5 from Matlab South.
The number of people infected with corona in the district has increased to 2970 with new cases. The death toll is 90. 2777 people have recovered. At present 103 people are undergoing treatment. Through this, after a long time, the number of patients undergoing treatment for corona exceeded one hundred.
Besides, the number of victims in Chandpur Sadar Upazila dropped to 1300.
According to the Civil Surgeon’s Office, samples were collected from 116 people across the district. In the report received at night, the corona of 14 people has been identified. The remaining 102 people reported negative.
The current upazila-wise statistics of 2,970 people infected by corona in Chandpur district are: 1302 in Chandpur Sadar, 323 in Faridganj, 312 in Matlab South, 269 in Shahrasti, 260 in Hajiganj, 217 in Matlab North, 177 in Haimchar and 110 in Kachua.
The upazila-wise statistics of 90 deaths in Corona district are as follows: 29 in Chandpur Sadar, 17 in Hajiganj, 14 in Faridganj, 11 in Matlab North, 7 in Shahrasti, 6 in Kachua, 5 in Matlab South and 1 in Haimchar.
